What should you do when your young children just won't shut up?
Lock them outside so you can catch a few zzz's.
His 3 year old boy was found outside, naked and crying in 40 degree weather. While another child, a 16 month old little girl, was found LOCKED IN A DOG KENNEL COVERED IN FECES! Presumably because she was too little to just trust that she would stand outside crying and not crawl off and get ran over by a car.
Dude claims he was passed out and "he took narcotic pain medicine, a muscle relaxant and an anti-seizure medication with a beer and then "laid down to take a rest."" All doctor prescribed, I'm sure.
Obviously, based upon the picture, he is a big fan of meth as well. I can say this with some certainty, for I hail from the "meth capital of the world", southeast Iowa.
He just didn't hear the children screaming and crying outside, banging on the door. He had no idea the kids were locked outside.
Right...
And I'm sure that 16 month old little girl just wandered outside and went ahead and locked herself in a metal dog kennel.
I guess kudos go out to Mr. Lewalen and his developmental nurturing, because according to babycenter.com, children don't usually develop the dexterity to hold a crayon until 36 months. So for his little baby girl to be able to work the clasp on a dog kennel is AMAZING.
Guess what guy, having kids is hard! I don't remember the last time I took a nap, and I only have ONE child. With 3 children under 3, you can forget about it.
This dude definitely earns the ASSHAT OF THE DAY award. And with that, I will no longer waste anymore breath on Mr Lewalen.
